Where to eat after a New York City real estate closing (or any other time)!

After four or five grueling hours spent at a commercial real estate closing in a conference room at a law office in a neighborhood of New York City you have never been to before, where are you going to go to get something to eat?

Of course in the scheme of potential problems that an attorney may face on a day-to-day basis in New York City, where to eat is likely way down towards the bottom of the list.

In reality a little bit higher up on that list than finding food would actually be an issue that most anyone who has spent time in NYC has had to deal with, which is finding a bathroom that has been made available to the general public. But I digress.

For anyone navigating the streets of any big city the sheer number of potential restaurants can be daunting. Now imagine that you are in a corner of Brooklyn you have never been in before. Which place do you choose and how can you even begin to make the decision?

For example let’s say you are in Gravesend and you want a slice of pizza. I’m going to say that you should check-out L&B Spumoni Gardens on 86th Street near 10th Street.

I know this because in the age of the smartphone I would have gone to a page at New York Magazine that breaks New York down into sections by criteria that includes neighborhood, cuisine, price and ratings.

You can find the magazine’s restaurant search page here.
