If it’s April 2014 on Long Island, New York it can mean only one thing!
Okay maybe two or three things. But, for those of us who are ready to toss the winter clothes, put the snow behind us and get out on the golf course, it means outings and it means great charitable causes.
That being the case of course it also means that it’s time to put the We Care Fund Golf and Tennis Classic being held on July 28th into your calendar and to reserve your spot TODAY!
Nowhere on Long Island during the summer of 2014 will the giving spirit be better exemplified than at the Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) We Care Fund outing being held this year on July 28th at Tam O’Shanter Country Club in Brookville along with The Mill River County Club in Oyster Bay!
That is a guarantee!
Since its inception, the We Care Fund has raised over $3 million which has been used to assist many residents of Nassau County including Nassau County Girl Scouts, Education and Assistance Corporation, Nassau County Family Court Emergency Fund, Long Island Council of Churches, Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Mercy Haven and Interfaith Nutrition Network.
So whether you plan on playing golf or tennis, advertising in the Journal or possibly sponsoring the event in one of the many ways available rest assured that it will be a day of fun and networking among the 450 or so lawyers, judges and businesspeople who will be in attendance!
But you have to plan ahead and reserve your spot today!
For anyone who is interested in playing golf, signing up as a foursome, playing tennis or maybe just attending the cocktail party and dinner being held at the end of the day, send an email either to:
Michael Haltman at MHaltman@hallmarkabstractllc or to
Harold Dieters at Harold.Dieters@bakertilly.com
and you will be put on the list to receive an official event invitation when they are sent out.
But, in the meantime, make sure that you have put July 28, 2014 into your calendar for the We Care Golf and Tennis Classic!
