With the New York Yankees opening at home Monday against the Houston Astros two things are certain!
The first is that a great many New Yorkers will be playing hooky from work or school to make the 1:05 PM start of the Opening Day game (although temperatures forecast in the 40’s with a chance of snow might hold attendance down), and
Second is that the new food offerings I saw this morning on the news need to be tried by anyone who loves good food that’s also not very good for you!

“Tape Measure Cheesesteak”
This two-foot cheesesteak comes topped with a choice of white American cheese or Cheez Whiz and is served on a classic sub roll with peppers and/or onions available upon request. It’s built to share and is sold at Carl’s Steaks in Section 107.
“Double-Double”
Is it a grilled cheese or is it a burger? It’s both. Well, two of each, really. Two grilled cheese sandwiches serve as the buns with two beef burgers, onion rings and more American cheese in between. It’s available at the “Triple Play” stand in Section 115.
“G.O.A.T Burger”
Also known as the “Greatest of All Time Burger,” this item features custom blended-beef, topped with bacon, pastrami, American cheese and “G.O.A.T.” sauce. It’s available at the “Triple Play” stand in Section 115.
