From the ‘if you have to ask the price you can’t afford it’ file, the 432 Park Avenue penthouse located on the 95th floor has an asking price of $82,000,000!
If that price is paid, it would result in a value of $9,933 per square foot.
But unbelievably, that is well below the closed sale price per square foot for a penthouse transaction that occurred one month ago in the same building.
The buyer, Saudi Arabian retail titan Fawaz Al Hokair, paid $87.7 million for 8,255 square feet of space or an incredible $10,623 for each one.
So what does one get for the money? ‘…Six bedrooms, seven bathrooms (including “his” and “hers” master bathrooms), 12-foot ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, two powder rooms, a large library, and room for a grand piano…’ (Source)
